Safety and environment

The CT20 is equipped with safety guards around hot or moving parts. An engine-enclosed canopy helps reduce noise level. A choice between a Tier III or IV engine keeps carbon emissions in control while plates underneath the power pack minimize oil spillage.

Modern deep hole drilling

Christensen CT20 rigs are equipped with a newly designed, powerful feed system and a drill capacity of 2, 450 meters. The rigs also include a user friendly swingable control panel which allows the operator to monitor and control various drilling parameters including RPM, weight on bit, penetration rate and water flow. The CT20 also includes pilot hydraulic controls and load sensing hydraulic pumps.

Productivity in mind

Christensen CT20 rigs are the most powerful rigs in the Christensen range. Mode of transport includes either trailer mounted or crawler. The CT20 is easy to operate and control thanks to an intuitive control panel with many automated features.

The Christensen CT20 surface core drilling rig – is the most powerful rig in the range and yet easy to operate. This rig has a new feed system that will further enhance productivity. The newley designed control panel is easy to use with it's many automated functions. The work environment around the CT20 has been in consideration throughout the development process. It is equipped with a sound reduced engine canopy. In order to control carbon emissions, the CT20 is also equipped with a modern Tier III or Tier IV engine and it has oil spill plates underneath the power pack.
