Industrial Technique Tierp works
Atlas Copco Industrial Technique’s plant in Sweden is one of the most efficient operations for the production of industrial power tools in the world. Located in the town of Tierp, just over an hour’s drive north of the capital city of Stockholm, Tierp Works has a dedicated workforce of about 480 and a floor area of 14,000 square meters equipped with the latest production machinery. There is intensive focus on lean manufacturing and each year the plant manufactures about 120,000 tools, incl. 2,500 variants.
