Antwerp, Belgium - Cartulinas CMPC, a cardboard manufacturer located in Chile, contracts Atlas Copco Specialty Rental to perform several tasks during a planned shutdown. In this case, quality of equipment is key.

Cartulinas CMPC S.A., subsidiary of Empresas CMPC S.A., is dedicated to manufacturing and trading cardboard. Thanks to their years of experience, the use of state-of-the-art technology and first class raw materials, the company produces high quality products, allowing them to compete with other prestigious providers around the world.

When it was time for Cartulinas CMPC to organize a plant shutdown, for maintenance and replacement of certain machines, they contacted Atlas Copco Specialty Rental. One of the main motivations for them was their confidence in the quality of the equipment we provide.

CMPC Cartulinas Chile 2016
Indeed for this particular job, which consisted of different projects such as pipeline drying and supplying back-up air, there were a couple of important requirements for us to keep into account. The air would have to be high quality, 100% oil-free and delivered at a high flow. And on top of that the machines needed to have features such as noise reduction and good fuel performance. We are proud that the project ran smoothly and even though the customer’s main focus was on the equipment, Cartulinas CMPC ended up complementing our service.

We were really able to benefit from the high quality standard that only a multinational company can offer and we would be delighted to work together on a next project.

Víctor Ligueño , Maintenance Manager, Cartulinas CMPC
