'Reliable clean air quality' - The Apple Farm implement SF22+ oil-free scroll compressor
The Traas family had been growing fruit in the Netherlands since the 1800s, and moved to Ireland in the late 1960's. This took them to the site where The Apple Farm is now situated, between Cahir and Clonmel on the main Limerick-Waterford road.
In 2019, The Apple Farm in Co. Tipperary implemented an SF22+ oil-free scroll compressor on site. We visited Con Traas on site in October 2022 to check out how they were getting on!

What were the demands and challenges for The Apple Farm?
The Apple Farm required more air for their peak demand. They previously had an older SF8 scroll compressor and were happy with the product and service so decided to continue with Atlas Copco and upgrade to an SF22+.
