Celebrating Diversity and Inclusion: Honoring Women's Month at Atlas Copco New Zealand

At Atlas Copco New Zealand, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion. International Women's Month provides us with an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the incredible women who make invaluable contributions to our company each and every day.

 

Throughout the month, we invite all Atlas Copco New Zealand team members to participate in a variety of events, discussions, and initiatives aimed at honoring and uplifting the women in our community. From educational workshops to networking opportunities and beyond, there are numerous ways to engage and show your support.

Our celebration kicked off with an engaging online quiz on March 8th, International Women's Day—a day dedicated to recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It was heartening to see the enthusiasm and participation from our team members as we came together to celebrate this important occasion.

Women in Finance Workshop

A guest speaker was presenting an insightful discussion on the compelling topic of "Women in Finance."
On March 18th, we hosted a thought-provoking pre-lunch workshop at our Auckland office, featuring two inspiring speakers from AMP. The session, available both onsite and virtually, provided an opportunity for our team members, their families, and our remote employees to come together and engage in meaningful dialogue on important topics.

In addition to these events, we took the opportunity to show our appreciation for our female team members by gifting each of them a green plant and New Zealand-style chocolates. It was a small gesture, but one that we hope conveyed our gratitude for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to our company.
