Sustainable productivity in practice
In order to minimize the environmental footprint of our business and the impact from our products we need to target environmental aspects in the early product development stages. We do this through our Eco design concept.
This way we can support our customers by reducing environmental impact and cost through energy efficient products and solutions.
Eco design and consideration of environmental aspects in product development is nothing new to us. Atlas Copco has a history of developing modular tools with respect for materials and natural resources used in our products. We strive to maximize the functionality of the product while optimizing the energy consumption to ensure minimized environmental impact.

“A key initiative in our sustainability plan is the Eco design concept aiming at setting relevant environmental targets in each product development project and highlighting Eco design achievements to our customers to raise environmental awareness and add value for our customers”
