Antwerp, Belgium, May 2, 2016: When Joyce Foam Products faces power outage as the result of a severe storm, Atlas Copco Rental Australia restarts production in a couple of hours, thus maintaining the foam manufacturer’s on-time delivery record.

Power for Joyce Foam
As Australia’s largest and most innovative foam supplier for bedding, furniture, healthcare and industrial applications, Joyce Foam Products is relied upon to meet production orders 24/7 by their clients, who are mainly active in the manufacturing of mattresses. Joyce Foam Products boast a 98.5% on-time delivery record and strives to maintain and exceed that delivery record to constantly build their satisfied customer base. Joyce Foam Products are committed to the highest product quality and comfort, made to rigorous environmental standards.

Thursday Jan 14th, 2016 saw a severe storm lash Sydney resulting in widespread building damage, trees & power lines being brought down and resultant widespread power outages. Atlas Copco Speciality rental, Sydney branch, received a call at 4.30pm requesting a 1000kva+ Generator to be deployed asap to get production back on line at Joyce Foam Products. Arriving at 9.30pm the plant was back on line at 1.00am ensuring Joyce Foam products could maintain their impressive on time delivery record. Despite ongoing heavy rain and 50 meters of cable being required to be laid out, the install was carried out without incident. The Atlas Copco QAS 1000 remained at site for 7 days ensuring production was maintained while the power supply was reinstated.

Thanks to Atlas Copco Speciality Rental being able to respond quickly with the 1000 kva Generator we were able to successfully maintain production at our Moorebank Plant during a challenging period.
