What makes the ZT 90-160 VSD (FF) unique?

  • Atlas Copco’s ZT 90-160 oil-free screw air compressor is available with fixed or variable speed drive and with or without an integrated dryer. This compressor is the latest addition to Atlas Copco’s smart AIR solutions portfolio.
  • All components in the compressor element, such as the rotor profiles, smart inlet and rotor coating, have been redesigned for maximum efficiency and durability. The design and sealing of the venting chamber ensure physical separation between the oil and air circuits, eliminating any possibility of oil entering the compressed air chamber and thus guaranteeing Class 0 oil-free air.
  • The NEOS drive communicates directly with the new, user-friendly, touchscreen Elektronikon® Mk5 Touch. This advanced monitoring system optimizes system pressure and maximizes energy efficiency. It includes warning indications, maintenance scheduling and online visualization of the machine’s condition. The remote data monitoring program SMARTLINK is integrated as standard.
  • At the core of the compressor, an IP 55 TEFC high-efficiency motor protects against dust and humidity and guarantees continuous operation under severe ambient temperature conditions. The efficient intake air filtration system contains a 2-stage dust removal system that minimizes intake losses and provides a low pressure drop.
  • The ZT 90-160 works together with the Atlas Copco’s new Optimizer 4.0 central controller. It enables a compressed air system to be optimized through selection of the most efficient compressors. Through a highly intuitive user interface, the end-user can view the performance and energy consumption of each machine as well as of the whole system.
