Atlas Copco UK celebrates Water for All’s 35th Anniversary

On 22nd August 2019 we celebrated the 35th anniversary of Water for All, a charity founded and managed by Atlas Copco employees to provide clean water to those who need it most. Atlas Copco offices across the UK held bake sales & had a dress down day to raise money and awareness for the charity. We even held a cycling challenge between the head office in Hemel Hempstead and Atlas Copco Bolting Solutions in Wolverhampton. The teams raced on static bikes to see who could reach 100 miles first. We had a live link up between the offices so we can see the race in action.

Water for All is the Atlas Copco Group’s main community engagement initiative. Through the dedicated and passionate work of volunteering employees, Water for All funds projects which empower people through access to clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene. Since the charity launched in 1984 we have reached more than 2 million people worldwide. All voluntary employee donations to this cause are matched by twice the amount by the company.
