Accredited (DAkkS) machine capability test of tools according to VDI/VDE 2645 Part 2Motor driven tools, continuously rotatingJoint related – 1 test point (tightening method torque or angle)Bring tightening tools into capability according to process instructions (joint related). If several parameter sets are stored in a tightening system (controller), the MCT with the most unfavorable constellation (lowest torque value, highest torque rate) must be carried out. If different tightening methods are stored in the parameter sets (e.g. torque tightening, angle tightening), an MCT is required for each tightening method. The product ID applies to parameter set, torque or angle (as control variable), without plausibility checks.For the MCT related to the joint, the customer provides the parameters of the current joint. These are simulated with a 2-step tightening. If a customer-specific parameterization cannot be simulated, the responsible contact person will be contacted to release a simulation possible for this joint.
The machine capability test includes the following services
• Preliminary test for functionality and testability • Setting the required torque/angle • Measuring range: 1 - 3000 N·m • Performance of measurements according to VDI/VDE 2645-2 on a measuring bench with 1 test point - joint related • Preparation of a comprehensive, audit-proof test report according to the guideline with accreditation symbol (DAkkS)

• The joint related MCT is based on the process specifications. • The VDI/VDE 2645-2 guideline is an important procedure for the machine capability test (MCT) of machines in tightening technique. The MCT enables the determination of parameters for the stability and reproducibility of the process influencing variable "machine". This allows statements to be made about the expected machine-related process errors, which represent an objective benchmark for the quality of different machines. The procedure described is realised by statistically evaluating the measured values of tightening tools (short-term analysis). The MCT described ensures that only suitable tightening tools are used in the tightening process. The guideline only refers to tools that have a controllable target value (e.g. torque) in some suitable form. (from VDI/VDE standard 2645 sheet 2) • The conformity assessment in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 is carried out on the basis of the parameters specified in the guideline/standard or by the customer. In the case of machine capability testing in accordance with VDI/VDE 2645 Sheet 2, however, the measurement uncertainty is not taken into account in the evaluation of the measurement results as part of the decision rule, as this is not used in testing laboratories. • Due to the additional logistical effort involved, travelling and transport costs for on-site tests are invoiced separately.
