What is AIRchitect?

Technically, AIRchitect is a tool from Atlas Copco that analyzes measured data from your production site. AIRchitect generates a free report with specific recommendations on how you can improve your compressor efficiency. The report and the recommendations are tailored to your system, your compressor energy consumption and your needs. 

These data and the custom report are available to any compressed air users.  

The reason to perform these measurements is that the demand for compressed air rarely stays the same. In nearly all production environments, it fluctuates based on a variety of factors, such as the time of day, week or month.

That is why the optimal compressed air system for any installation cannot be designed on paper. Instead, you need a report like AIRchitect to achieve the greatest possible efficiency. 

How does AIRchitect work?

With AIRchitect we measure the fluctuating demand of your system for 7-10 days. With enough data collected, we analyze this information. Next, a member of our team selects various options to simulate to find the one that is best for you. 

These findings are compiled in a customized report. It provides you with comprehensive information on your compressed air use and makes energy optimization recommendations. They tell you which equipment you need and how you should operate it to increase efficiency.

Is AIRchitect only available for Atlas Copco compressors?

No. AIRchitect is available for any compressor – regardless of its manufacturer, model or size. There are a couple of reasons for this. On the one hand, sustainability is one of our core missions, and AIRchitect will make just about all compressed air systems more efficient. On the other hand, we believe the customized reports will show most customers that they can benefit from switching to our compressors. 

What is the process for getting your AIRchitect report?

It's easy. Contact Atlas Copco and one of our team members will install the AIRchitect device for you. This only takes a few minutes. After 7-10 days, we will pick it up again. Following the analysis of your data, you will get your customized report and can discuss the recommendations with an Atlas Copco expert. 

Why do you need to monitor my system for so long?

A snapshot of a compressed air system’s performance wouldn't provide the required information. That's why our air compressor energy report gets data from 7-10 days. This ensures that there is a true overview of the ebbs and flows in demand. For example, only getting data from the busiest day and not, for example, the weekends, wouldn't allow us to optimize your system. 

How do I benefit from AIRchitect?

AIRchitect is virtually guaranteed to increase your efficiency and help optimize your compressed air system.
