Types of oil- free compressors for high & medium pressure applications
ZD Range.
Oil-free medium pressure screw compressor with high pressure piston booster: between 25 & 40 bar
Our ZD (VSD) hybrid solution combines the advantages of oil-free screw technology, drum type adsorption dryer and the well-known piston booster technology. The result is in 100% oil-free dry air or nitrogen for medium- and high-pressure applications.
The ZD system is easy to install and easy to use: no complex connections or foundations are required. Z compressor and D booster can be used in parallel or separately reaching different levels of pressure ratios between 25 and 40 bar, which saves you maintenance time and costs.
Four-stage air compression with high-efficiency intercooling maximises compression efficiency. More savings can be achieved with adding Variable Speed Drive (VSD) and energy recovery.
P Range.
High-pressure oil-free reciprocating piston compressors: 25 to 40 bar / 37 to 160 kW
Designed for continuous reliable and safe operation at low cost, our oil-free reciprocating piston P-compressors are built to operate round the clock for all your oil-free high pressure applications. Thanks to 3 compression stages with pressure ratios up to 42 bar(e) , they perform in the most stringent environments.
The elimination of most friction load, anti-vibration mounts, excellent cooling and low inter-stage temperatures increase the lifetime of the machines and make them your reliable source of oil-free high pressure air.
The compressors are delivered on a single skid for easy and safe maintenance. Thanks to the Elektronikon® control unit, you can tailor the air pressure to your specific needs, reducing energy costs and increasing your overall operating efficiency.
Water-cooled reciprocating piston compressors: between 45 to 100 bar (g),
The Atlas Copco HX/HN-100 are water-cooled horizontal balanced reciprocating compressors with 4 compression stages , working pressure 45 to 100 bar (g), and installed motor 55 to 132 KW. The compressors come as complete units, skid mounted and completely wired. HX/HN-100 deliver 100% oil-free air for high pressure applications.
Energy efficient, these reliable machines provide a steady supply of compressed air 24h a day, with limited maintenance costs keeping life cycle costs to a minimum.

ZR & ZT (VSD)
Rotary screw & rotary tooth oil-free air compressors from: 3,5 to 13 bar
The components of the ZR/ZT oil free rotary screw air compressor range have been carefully designed in house. This reduces losses and pressure drop to a minimum, resulting in the highest compressor package efficiency. Our oil less compressors are also class 0 certified, delivering the highest air purity at the lowest total cost of ownership. By using our rotary screw technologies you are guaranteed to reliable and efficient compressor. Atlas Copco's VSD technology closely follows the air demand by automatically adjusting the motor speed. This results in energy savings of up to 35%.
