Any machinery which you use in your daily life needs replacement of some parts after a certain period of work so that it will run efficiently. Air compressor filters and separators

Most critical elements for the compressors are air filter, oil filter, and oil separator. They avoid damage or performance loss due to dust which causes following impact on your air compressor:

  • Dirt between rotors and housing results in damage to the rotors, leading to less compressed air delivered and higher energy consumption.
  • Dust reduces the lifetime of the compressor element, oil separator element and oil.
  • Dust also damages bearings and bearing housing which in turn affect the compressor element and lead to element seizure.

Hence it is critical to keep away dust and dirt contamination with genuine compressor filters and separators. As per a thumb rule, an extra pressure drop of 25 mbar at the air inlet will reduce the compressor output with 2% and an additional pressure drop of 1 bar over the separator element will increase the power consumption with 7%.
