Complete rivet manufacturing controlled in-house from forging to packaging
Flat, Pan, Dome: Provide good strength. especially in plastics or thin sheet metals; allow good head seating, especially when riveting thick or very hard materials; accentuate aesthetics of a riveted joint
Not all head styles are available on all rivets -- please contact our experts for more information

Standard coatings are used in the majority of applications to protect steel self-pierce rivets when applied to steel, aluminium or other products. Coatings are specified mostly for corrosion protection and in some cases for decorative purposes. Coating types include: zinc, zinc/tin, zinc/tin/aluminum (AlmacTM), painted, burnished.
New coatings, compatible with an increasing number of applications and environmental conditions, are being researched as part of customer-specified programs.

Special grades of steel wire - forged, hardened and tempered to provide optimum joint properties in the full range of application materials.
Special Rivet Materials:
Austenitic stainless steel - used for joining ductile stainless steel sheets
Martensitic stainless steel - for tougher materials that cannot be joined with austenitic stainless steel rivets
Copper - special applications such as copper, brass and plastics
Aluminum - suitable for joining soft grades of aluminium
Rivet Hardness:
Rivets are produced in a range of hardness levels to match the piercing requirement for different material grades. We work closely with our customers to establish the correct rivet hardness and geometry for the application.

Cassettes are used with our tape feed systems for manual applications where maximum mobility or rotation of the rivet setter is required. Cassettes hold from 200 to 800 rivets.
Spools are used with our tape feed systems that hold from 4,000 to 10,000 rivets, depending on the size of the rivet, and are used on manual, automated or robotic tools. Re-usable plastic spools are available for applications where a return loop permits economic recycling and refill. There is a poka-yoke option where the center hub is configured with a mechanical key to prevent incorrect rivets from being loaded to a tool.
