Round two of government rebate scheme announced
The Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Enterprises Round 2 helps small and medium businesses improve energy efficiency. Businesses can save money and control energy costs by upgrading or replacing old equipment to use less energy. These initiatives align with Australia's goal of achieving a 43% reduction in emissions from 2005 levels by 2030.
The program aims to achieve three key objectives:

- Support small and medium businesses in effectively managing their energy consumption and associated costs.
- Contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Key details from the energy efficiency grant
Elgible businesses can receive between $10,000 to $25,000 to purchase energy-efficient equipment. The grant opportunity has been staggered based on the jurisdiction because of demand.
