Meet Product Specialist Anisha Pendse

Anisha Pendse started off her professional journey as a Design Engineer in Atlas Copco's engineering center in India, after completing her degree in Electrical Engineering in 2016. Today she works as a Product Specialist in Compressor Technique.

The transition from college life to professional life is important and the experience at one’s first employer is key for anyone. The training and guidance provided here at Atlas Copco made the transition smoother,” says Anisha, whose professional career started in the company four years ago.

Provides best in class service

Today she works as a Product Specialist in the Compressor Technique Service Division for one of the brands in the Atlas Copco Group. She is responsible for all the aftermarket services and products: “I work on the connectivity solutions for our compressors with ICONS, multi-compressor control, and various others to provide best in class services for our customers. My role involves a lot of traveling to remote customer sites in the country to support on-field service engineers for their jobs.”

Moved internally in the company

Anisha has experienced plenty of diverse tasks and challenges through working with Product Companies in India and in Belgium. During her employment she has also moved within the organization; she switched division and changed role, from design to an in-field service role, which she describes as an entirely new challenge: “My current role with a lot of traveling and onsite troubleshooting of machines gives me something new to do every time. It’s a very enriching experience,” she comments.

Finds inspiration by interacting with people

Anisha’s source of inspiration and motivation comes from meeting people, colleagues, and customers, and by learning from different cultures. Her colleagues also provide great support: “The support I receive from my colleagues gives me strength in achieving my goals and attaining a good level of self-satisfaction.”
