How so? The answer can be found in Atlas Copco’s new Elektronikon® Nanoᵀᴹ controller and its ability to receive over-the-air updates.
What does that mean for you as a customer? Every time Atlas Copco’s engineers, who are always hard at work to improve all of our products, come up with an upgrade for the G 15L-22, then you will have the option of downloading and installing it.
This could be a new feature, a tweak that makes it more energy-efficient or an improved an algorithm that optimizes the compressor’s performance.
Atlas Copco notifies you of the update then you can decide whether you want to download and install it. As a result, your compressor is never out-of-date.

Cybersecurity is a top priority

The best connectivity options and features are worthless if they leave your compressor vulnerable to attacks from hackers. That is why cybersecurity was a top priority in the development of the Elektronikon® Nanoᵀᴹ. Atlas Copco uses the advanced X.509 certificate-based authentication and Transport Layer Security  (TLS) 1.2 encrypted communication to keep your compressor safe and give you complete peace of mind.

The Elektronikon® Edge

The Nanoᵀᴹ which was developed entirely in-house by Atlas Copco experts, is the smallest of the Elektronikon® range of advanced compressor controllers. Like its larger two “siblings” – the Swipe and Touch – it has a sturdy design and is made of quality materials. Thanks to its uncluttered display, the Nano™ is especially intuitive and easy to use.

It also comes with advanced control algorithms. First and foremost among them is the energy-saving “Delayed Second Stop” (DSS) feature.

Like a car that turns off at a traffic light, the Nanoᵀᴹ stops the G’s motor whenever possible. It maintains the desired system pressure while minimizing the run time of the drive motor.

The result: a minimal energy consumption and maximum costs savings for you. 

SMARTLINK, the app that helps make the G 15L-22 future-proof

In addition to the innovative Nanoᵀᴹ and its superior connectivity, the key to the G 15L-22’s best-in-class performance – and its ability to improve over time – is the SMARTLINK app.

With an Internet connection (wired or wireless) and Bluetooth® functionality, you can easily monitor and control your G compressor with a mobile device and make sure it delivers the optimal performance at all times.

Via SMARTLINK, the Nanoᵀᴹ keeps a constant eye on your compressor and allows you to check key indicators, such as pressure, temperature, running hours and operation mode.

But the new controller is not just a passive monitoring device, it also allows you to turn your G compressor on/off, set your pressure and even set a week timer.

And, if SMARTLINK detects a potential problem that requires your attention, you’ll get real-time notifications.

But that’s only the beginning. Leaks are one of the biggest sources of inefficiency in a compressed air network. In order to put an end to this waste of energy and money, SMARTLINK checks your system for leaks and reports back to you.
