International Women's Day 2023
This year, we're highlighting women's feelings about working at Atlas Copco.
International Women's Day might be over, but that doesn't stop us from highlighting the incredible women we have within the business. This annual day celebrates the achievements of women all across the globe. It is also a time to raise awareness about inequality, discrimination, and other challenges women might face in the workplace or at home. This year's theme #EmbraceEquity aims to make us think about what we can do together to create a gender-equal world free from discrimination and bias.
At Atlas Copco, we believe that diversity is a business-critical driver for our long-term success. To capture global growth opportunities and explore the full talent pool, we strive for increased diversity & for a culture that encourages diversity of mind, inviting and including all voices to the table.
Our aim is for Atlas Copco to represent a Group with diversity of cultures, nationalities and ethnic origins. To be a work place that offers equal opportunities and a good balance between female and male employees and role models.
We began our celebration with a special message from General Manager "Robert Koeck" who stated that our company strongly supports gender diversity and equity driven by the Group's goal to employ a 30% female workforce by 2030, followed by a small presentation from Human Resources highlighting the women percentage at the workplace since a couple of years ago and how much this percentage increased till today.
There were a special gift with a card inspirational message highlighting how special and valuable is the role of women in the workplace and in society.
In the women's Intenational day - we asked each lady to express her feelings in 10 second about working in Atlas Copco Egypt & we combined all these words together and came up with amazing bundle of words that translates Atlas Copco values and culture.
