Our History
Atlas Copco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. was incoporated in Shah Alam, Selangor on July 6 1982. The incorporation resulted in the takeover of the entire operations of marketing, sales and distribution from an earlier distributor, Mulpha Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd.
With this takeover and a focus on efficient and reliable service to customers throughout Malaysia, our early start was the opening of two branches and appointment of one distributor. The two branches in Penang and Johor was established in 1983 and 1989 respectively. Penang Branch is to support our customers in the North and Johor Branch is for Southern's customers.
Our first distributor was appointed in 1983 to ensure coverage for customers in Sabah and Sarawak. To-date, we have partnered with many distributors in various states to ensure optimum support is given to all our customers nationwide.
Today, we specialize in the sales and service of industrial air and gas compressors, compressed air dryers and filters, genuine compressor parts, vacuum pumps, and complete service solutions that ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
With our Head Office and Customer Centre located in Alam Impian, Shah Alam, Selangor, we ensure nationwide coverage through branches in Johor, Penang, and Kuantan, providing faster response times and dedicated support for customers across the Southern, Northern, and East Coast regions.
