The 1st Air Compressor Certified GREEN "MyHIJAU Mark"

We are very happy to announce that Atlas Copco’s GA7-75 VSD+ Oil-injected screw compressors has been awarded with the MyHijau Mark. We are the first Compressor Manufacturer given this green certification on 27 October 2016.

What is MyHijau Mark? MyHIJAU is Malaysia’s official green recognition scheme endorsed by the Government of Malaysia (KeTTHA: Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and water) bringing together certified products and services that meet local and international environmental standards under one single mark.

When a Green technology asset is listed in MyHijau Directory, it means a green technology product, equipment or system used to conserve the natural environment and resources which minimizes and reduces the negative impact of human activities; and approved by the Minister of Finance (MOF).

How does it benefit our customers? In recognising Green Technology as a driver for the nation’s economic growth, the Government has provided the investment tax allowance for the purchase of green technology equipment and income tax exemption for green technology services companies as announced in the 2014 Budget.

Investment Tax Allowance (ITA) of 100% of qualifying capital expenditure incurred on a green technology project from the year of assessment 2013 (date on which the first qualifying capital expenditure incurred is not earlier than 25 October 2013) until the year of assessment 2020. The allowance can be offset against 70% of statutory income in the year of assessment. Unutilized allowances can be carried forward until they are fully absorbed.
