Technical Talk by Atlas Copco on Optimizing Air Compressor Energy Efficiency

On 29th November 2022, Atlas Copco Malaysia was invited by The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) to hold a physical talk on the topic of “Optimizing Compressor Air Systems’ Energy Efficiency. The seminar took place at Malakoff Auditorium, Wisma IEM for two hours and was participated by 28 people from various industries. This seminar is an industrial-oriented technical talk led by Jonathan Huan, an experienced industrial speaker from Atlas Copco Malaysia.

Throughout the seminar, Jonathan Huan reminded the participants on the impact of carbon footprint from compressed air systems on the environment and on our earth. Considering that the use of compressed air is necessary in daily activities for manufacturing, construction and other industries, the selection of the right compressed air system is needed to support the CO2 emission reduction and achieve the either the company’s goal and green targets and eventually the regulations which will be implemented by the government.

This seminar is open to anyone who wants to understand the compressed air system and to anyone who want to study ways to reduce the CO2 emission while gaining knowledge on methods to save operation costs on electrical bills. We only have one Earth and reducing the impact of global warming is everyone’s responsibility. We need to start our effort by reducing the CO2 emission in whichever possible ways. Ir. Ts. Vincent Khaw, Asia SC Productivity & Process Specialist from Air Products conveyed his special thanks to Jonathan for giving out an interactive and knowledgeable talk session to the audience at The Institution of Engineers Malaysia. Jonathan was also presented with a certificate as an appreciation for his sharing.
