Industrial Exposure for Young Graduates
Atlas Copco at Industrial Exposure week for young graduates
Atlas Copco has partnered with InvestKL for the Industrial Exposure Week as part of the Fit4Work initiative. Fit4Work is a Penjana project to improve the essential skill sets of young Malaysian graduates needed in the Global Services Industry, and Atlas Copco Malaysia is one of their Company Partners.
Graduate trainees were successfully onboarded in various areas, including human resources, business control, communications, and others. We offer a 12-month paid training program that gives graduates hands-on work experience and allows them to enhance their abilities. Recent graduates from various local institutions attended the event to learn more about Atlas Copco Malaysia's current job prospects. Darveendran, the Sales Manager for Compressor Technique Service (CTS), gave an overview of CTS's role and how the team assists customers with aftermarket services.
Kian Sheng Tiu, KL Hub Finance Manager, also gave a brief introduction of the finance department's responsibility in managing finances for the company's operations and the job description for a graduate trainee in the finance department.
"We're searching for people that are strong communicators, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and explore new things. You will have many opportunities to advance your career at Atlas Copco, locally and internationally. We also offer training and guidance because we want you to grow, which allows us to grow together," Kian Sheng explained.
Fresh graduates were given the opportunity to learn more about the industry by asking questions and engaging with our Atlas Copco employees as part of their experience. The feedback from graduates attending the event was positive, one sharing the comment "this exposure allows us to gain more experience while also meeting professionals and learning more about the company's job options"
Graduate trainees Juliana and Shivasangari, who represented Atlas Copco, spoke to the fresh graduates about their experiences at the company.
A graduate trainee from Human Resources, Juliana was excited to share her experience with the new graduates. "It's not just discussing my work at Atlas Copco with them, but educating them about Atlas Copco's existence in Malaysia - and I'm personally satisfied," she said.
Atlas Copco Malaysia is continuously on the hunt for passionate people. Become a part of our growing company today!
