A week in a life of... Hamna
This week we celebrate International Women's Day by looking at a week in the life of some of our female employees here at Atlas Copco.
Hamna Tanvir – Marketing Specialist, Industrial Air Pakistan
I have been working for Atlas Copco for three years. I started my journey as an Aftermarket sales admin for Compressor Technique Services (CTS) division and from last one year with the selection in Master’s in Marketing and Sales program (MiMS) I’m working with Industrial Air Division (AII) as Marketing Specialist for Atlas Copco brand industrial air range. Main responsibilities include the scope of marketing activities, product training, communication, relationship development and management with distributors and dealers. The main goal to implement MiMS learnings in my customer center and share key takeaways with the team for better understanding and growth avenues.
Monday
The week starts with an internal sales meeting that covers the update on visits, pipeline, opportunities, and orders along with follow-up on assigned tasks to the individuals and team with discussion on agenda for the current week. Upon the team’s input, update all reports for accurate forecast and timely compilation of data and share with BLM. Crosscheck the data updation in C4C as communicated by the team.
Tuesday
Another part of my role is to look after our main distributor performance. Meeting with distributor for the updates on visits, pipeline, opportunities, orders along with follow-up with assigned tasks. Make sure the timely execution of pending tasks. Upon the team’s input, update all reports for accurate forecast and timely compilation of data and share with BLM. Cross-check distributor data details in C4C.
Wednesday
Execute different internal analyses required for forecasting and reporting which mainly covers the scope of market coverage, competitor market share in different segments and dedication territories, port report analysis, pricing strategy, and target customers.
Thursday
Pay a visit to distributor, dealers or customer site for planned training related to products, new launches, calculation tools, Atlas Copco portal support, awareness and importance of digital marketing, and competitor information.
Friday
I’m responsible to collect, compile and share marketing material related to machines installed, customer stories or testimonials on LinkedIn and with communications lead for official social media pages. Also, execute research on the divisional portal for new updates and upcoming product launches and training throughout the year to communicate it to the team and plan it for distributors and dealers. Planning and coordination with the team for upcoming events, campaigns or exhibitions.
