Our GA range is designed for reduced energy consumption, high reliability and serviceability. All components are designed for ease of service with the most commonly serviceable parts grouped together for ease of access. The patented portal design enables full access to all components when more extensive maintenance is required. This results in a service time that is half the time of comparable designs.
Tip to toe warranty
Atlas Copco provides customers with a tip to toe 5-year Warranty Plus program on the complete machine. This ensures smooth operation in the harshest environments for which the GA is built. Examples of these industries include mining, metal plants or the cement industry.

Our latest oil lubricated hybrid compressor combines the best of two technologies. It uses Variable Speed Drive and Fixed Speed technology in a single canopy. This results in class leading efficiency, single core operation and savings on footprint.

At the heart of the GA compressors are state-of-the-art compression elements with SmartInjection technology and high efficiency oil cooled IE4 or better class motors. This highly efficient drive train coupled with generous cooling capacity, low internal pressure drops and precise control from the Elektronikon® Touch ensures optimum efficiency.
Reliable in toughest conditions
The GA compressor's drive train is IP66 rated protecting it completely from environmental dust and moisture ensuring it can operate reliably in the toughest conditions and at ambient temperatures up to 55°C/131°F
Reduced service time
Service time is reduced to a minimum with all service parts grouped together for ease of access and, if greater access is required, the patented portal design enables full access to all components. Each component has also been designed for serviceability, halving the time required to service compared to traditional designs.

Our hybrid GA screw compressor can save up to 8% on enery consumption compared to previous generations of VSD compressors.
Higher Turndown
The combination of fixed speed and Variable Speed Drive motors results in a turndown of up to 85%, giving more operational flexibility without losing energy.
Single Core Operation
Our hybrid compressor has two independent oil circuits. This means you can run on a single motor if desired or if something goes wrong with one circuit. With a hybrid compressor you will never be fully out of production.
