Student seminar activity held by Atlas Copco Egypt

As a part of our sponsorship with ACES, the GM, business line managers along with the Logistics,Communication Manager and HR Supervisor were invited to a student seminar day held at Ain shams University. ACES is the first student-run organization Founded in 2004, boosting a community of more than 35,000 engineers including graduates, undergraduates and community leaders.

The day started with an introduction from Jack Zureikat about the history of Atlas Copco Egypt and the Group and how Atlas Copco has a history of taking on challenging tasks and turning them into stories of innovation, perseverance and success. Mr. Jack talked about the Group strategy, goals, ethics and How to grow and be successful in a sustainable way as we believe there is always a better way. The students got updated about our new product innovations and technologies tailored to our customer needs. During the day there was a lot of interaction and engagement between the students and the Managers of each division. The students were asking about our products and various industrial applications The day has given participants a more in-depth look at the activities in our business, as well as an update on strategy and key developments in the Compressor Technique business area along with our social / business events and our coproate social responsibiliy (CSR) projects.

The session was about sharing personal development experiences and exploring future career opportunities within Atlas Copco Egypt. The students were so curious to know how to be part of Atlas Copco Egypt - and this HR workshop was so effective and beneficient for provided all the needed answers to all their questions: about the way to apply and follow up at a job vacancy - summer intership , how to make their CVs fit the criteria of the position they will apply for. They also know how we create the best workplace! And how their first day at Atlas Copco could be the first day of a life-long journey.
