Summer Interns joining Atlas Copco Egypt service operations

Summer intership programs is a great opportunity for a student seeking a career in Service & Operations and a wealth of information, knowledge transfer and practical experience in heavy equipment machinery. Summer interns join us to satisfy & delight our customers where they gain valuable experience while doing it
We held an intership training in July 2018 for one month full commitment on various projects and tasks in Cairo & Alex premises providing the interns with the experience needed in the field of service and maintenance . The interns worked on a wide variety of projects including workshop and site, indoor & outdoor.
The interns hired for this position were supposed to learn all facets of equipment servicing, leaving this position with valuable skills and industry knowledge.
Learning outcomes
- The interns were supervised by a member of the operations team and receive training on service & maintenance.
- The interns learnt about air compressor types/ cycle, machine components, basic trouble shooting & preventative maintenance.
- Got the opportunity to gain experience in many aspects supporting different heavy machinery type.
- Worked with cross departments including Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc. to gain knowledge in these other areas.
It was a great opportunity to enhance skills in organization, multi-tasking, communications, and learn about the highly challenging and motivating world of service and operation.
