Winter training Program for Engineering Students at Atlas Copco Egypt

Atlas Copco Egypt held a winter training program for engineering students during the period from February 3-5, 2020. 22 students came from faculty of Engineering & from different universities.
Our main goal
The goal of our winter students program is to provide an excellent opportunity for the 22 students to learn more about the business process in Atlas Copco and benchmark interests for their future careers.Throughout the three days, The training was full of interaction and engagement between the students and the instructors.The Students got introduced to our program including:
First day: oil – free compressors introduction & applications
Second day: oil – injected compressors / gas generators
Third day: AirNet & compressors component & function.
Practical training
Apart from the theortical session - workshop training was an essential part in our learning program to highlight the technical aspects and features of our products and to know more about Atlas Copco innovative solutions.
Technical training showed a lot of interest from them where we got a lot of attention and interesting questions which was a good opportunity to us to learn and invest in their knowledge.
We truly believe that they would either turn to be part of of our employess or our loyal customers.
In addition, They experienced the look and feel of the compressor room virtually via the VR demonstration and it was really an added value for their knowledge which allowed them not only gain experience but also put their education into practical use.
How was the feedback from the students?
The feedback from the students is quite positive, we are very glad we could provide the students with a learning opportunity to explore with their own eyes and feet on our operations and technology with our professional divisional instructors who focused on delivering the technicalities and knowledge in an interactive way through quizzing the students via “kahoot” - fun learning tool which created a lot of competitive and exciting spirit among the students.
The training program helped the engineering students to discover more about Atlas Copco's culture and the way of doing things at Atlas Copco.
After this successful training, our successive activity will be the upcoming internship as we value the fresh ideas, approaches, and talents that interns bring to our organization.
