The transformation in the range of handheld tools and controllers also marks the beginning of a new era for our fixtured tightening solutions. We are expanding our range around the Power Focus 8 adding the new Power Focus S. This is used in particular in multi-channel applications as a drive for synchronized spindles and also serves as an interface for wired tools that are controlled via our server-based control system ToolsControl.
For more demanding tightening applications that require even higher performance, we offer the PF8 and the Power Focus S in a three-phase version. These models replace our PowerMacs controller, which has been a reliable and flexible system for multi-spindle systems over the past decades. The new system fits perfectly into the Atlas Copco ecosystem and ensures efficient management of all tightening channels through standardized programming.
With the new generation of the Power Focus 8 family, which is also now extended by a high-voltage variant (Power Focus 8 HV), we are relying on an uniform control platform. We also pursue this goal with our innovative control concepts, which include an integrated control system within the IxB tools as well as the server-based control system ToolsControl.
