Atlas Copco Compressors Canada employee appreciation day held in Saint-Laurent, Montreal

18 June 2018 - Saint-Laurent, QC - On June 2nd 2018, Atlas Copco Compressors Canada held a Family day for all the Compressor Technique Canada staff and their families. This day also marked, for all employees, the first year anniversary of the new Compressors Canada Headquarters, in Saint-Laurent, Montreal.

Atlas Copco Compressors Canada wanted to thank their employees by hosting a lunch and a few fun activities for them and their families. It was also an opportunity for all to commemorate the first anniversary of the new Compressors Canada Headquarters in Saint-Laurent, Montreal. It was a beautiful sunny day in Montreal, and as the employees and their families arrived at Atlas Copco Compressors Canada Headquarters, they were able to enjoy all the outdoors activities prepared. Children were able to ride ponies, jump and play in air castles and try to catch soap bubbles. Together with their families, there were other activities to do, such as visiting the petting zoo, practicing their kick at the soccer inflatable or their basketball shots at the basketball air castle, have their face painted or have a temporary tattoo made. After all that exercise and fun, it was time to grab some lunch at one of the two food trucks available and sit down either outside or inside the big tent and relax with colleagues and family.

People were also very interested in buying raffles to win one of 6 prizes: double tickets for one of the three days of the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix, a Seal’s concert happening at the Montreal jazz festival, the “Just for laughs” comedy show and a Scandinavian spa visit. All proceeds of the raffle sales went to Water for all Canada, Atlas Copco Canada’s charity organization. The employees also had the opportunity to fill out a form and agree to donate a part of their biweekly salary, pick up a Water for all souvenir or even donate right there what they wanted by putting their donation in the Water for all piggy banks. Michael Sue, President and General Manager of Atlas Copco Compressors Canada made a quick speech and announced the cutting of the family day and 1st anniversary cake. Some families decided to visit the Atlas Copco photo booth to take a picture and receive an atlas copco branded printed copy of that moment. There were also a few branded items people could take home to remind themselves of this day in the future. During this event, the employees could visit Compressors Canada head office and show their family where they worked. The event ended with the announcement of the winners of the raffle prizes.
