Atlas Copco donates medical equipment to Chakan Covid Care Center

As part of its ongoing contribution and support to the community, Atlas Copco India Limited today handed over medical equipment including ventilators and PPE kits to the Chakan Covid Care Center, Mahalunge. This is in addition to the equipment and support we have already pledged to both the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporations.

Atlas Copco - a leader in compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools and assembly systems, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, has contributed to PM-CARES FUND and is also majorly involved in helping modernise Naidu Hospital, Pune, one of only two hospitals in Maharashtra dedicated to treating communicable diseases, in partnership with PMC. The company has also contributed towards distributing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other medical equipment to the health and medical staff operating in various hospitals across Pune in association with CII (Confederation of Indian industry), Pune chapter and IAHV. In addition, the company has partnered with NGOs to help support migrant labourers and daily wage workers with food and urgent essential supplies.
