Diversity & Inclusion at Atlas Copco Compressor Technique

A diverse workforce with good gender balance, makes it easier to attact and retain the best competence.

Competition for talent is fierce. We don’t want to miss out on any part of the talent pool. Diversity helps us better understand our diverse customer base. Diversity brings creativity and innovative solutions to customer challenges and needs. It is easier to attract and retain the best competence if we have a diverse workforce with a good gender balance – it’s more attractive to everyone!

The Compressor Technique diversity task force is mainly focused on increasing awareness and engagement to enable measurable results and actions, and of course, also on reporting success stories.

A positive, inclusive work culture

As the Human Resources Manager, it is my privilege to lead our efforts in building a workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. Our Ambition is 30 by 30, which means to reach 30% gender diversity by 2030.

My background equips me with the knowledge and insights needed to drive diversity and inclusion initiatives effectively. We will focus on following thrust areas as a part of our D&I commitment at DiverseCT:

  • Awareness
  • Talent attraction
  • Recruitment
  • Development
  • Retention

Together, we can shape a more inclusive Culture for INK, one where every individual is valued and empowered. If you have any ideas, questions, or suggestions related to diversity and inclusion, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you for being an integral part of our commitment towards Diversity and Inclusion!

A day in the life of a field service engineer

It is the task of a field service engineer to successfully keep machines running and customers satisified. They perform routine, preventative maintenance and repair  equipment. They troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions. and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. They also conduct reventative maintenance. All while promoting and practicing proper safety procedures.

When Field Service Engineer Aboli Sonavane puts on her yellow jacket, dons her safety hat and picks up her toolkit, you know she’s ready for the day. Follow Aboli as she visits the customer site and gets to work: analyzing the requirement, isolating the compressor, removing the unloader valve, overhauling the valve and finally fitting it into the compressor. Find out why, at the end of the day she can say, “I feel lucky to be a part of Atlas Copco.”
