My Belief. My Story.

"Once upon a time…" Haven't you stumbled upon this conventional opening of a story numerous times? So, what? We tend to overlook and move on. That's how a story is written; it's a norm. The perception about the opening narrative is already built. Why? Not many of us may have an answer to this question.

Probably, we have agreed to it. So be it that way. But if a phrase can build the perception and conceive a bias in our subconscious mind, then prejudices indeed have turned into beliefs. There are so many biases about color, race, culture, and most prominently about gender. Or should we say Her?

The battle of biases about her continues to raise eyebrows as well as bring about a rational change. How do these transformative changes happen? These breakthroughs are powered by Her. She believes in herself and scripts her story. It drives her and continually enables her to bring about a transformation by breaking biases, rebuilding the faith, and scripting her own story. Here, in the Group, we are proud to have women who believed, braved the biases, scripted the change, and continued to inspire us.

Her story is indeed unique! And it's worth seeing how she has turned the tables challenging the status quo. She believes that anyone can be the driver of their own journey. When we asked our women professionals what they have done differently to achieve goals, they said it starts with My belief. My story.

The common factor amongst these women game-changers is that they took unconventional paths to break perceptions and inspire others:

Unconventional profession:

These women followed their passions foraying into unchartered territories where women professionals are yet to equal the number of male professionals. Be it as a technical support engineer or as an integral member of the sales & marketing team on lead conversions, or even mechanical design engineer, for them, gender was irrelevant. They only focused on performing passionately and changing the perception.

No field too far:

While field jobs are often perceived as a male-dominated territory, our women Field Service Engineers are transforming the trend. Geographies or terrains don’t matter where delivering an exceptional solution-oriented service becomes a deciding factor. Upskilling themselves with leading technology equipping themselves with cutting-edge technical knowledge, women engineers are breaking the biases. Visiting work sites, repairing equipment, and ending the day with happy customers is a trend they continue to sustain.

Owning the floor:

The manufacturing units and service centers are teeming with a gender-diverse workforce. Our filter unit at Dapodi, Pune is trailblazing with all-women operated unit. These women professionals come from diverse backgrounds where societal norms and subconscious biases persist. But the grit and determination of these women have cranked up the unit to function with full throttle. They are not just changing the age-old preconceived notions but also are in a position to take decisions in the best interest of the Group.

The words "My belief. My Story" continue to resonate amongst our people. Every woman professional takes on challenging roles to live her passion and harness progress. Diligently progressing ahead, she inspires all those who meet her during her journey.

For her, "The time is now, let's begin at once…."

My Belief. My Story.
