Ventilators help to breathe by assisting the lungs in inhaling and exhaling air. Its primary function is to pump in blow oxygen-rich air into the lungs and assist in removing carbon dioxide. Before the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, their role was mainly in ICUs rendering life support. But now, they have been essayed as crucial and essential life-saving devices that the world is in dire need of.
