TurboTight®
Our revolutionary tightening strategy, TurboTight®, brings several benefits over traditional tightening methods, not the least of which is its ability to run down fasteners more quickly. With advanced tool to controller communication and an algorithm, TurboTight® is able to dynamically predict when the target torque is about to be reached and quickly ramp the tool speed down to very accurately hit the precise torque.
TurboTight® is up to 30% faster than traditional two stage strategies that require the tool to shift speed downward dramatically in order to accurately hit the target. TurboTight’s greater speed can decrease tact time and eliminate bottlenecks or allow for line rebalancing.
Tensor STR Two Trigger Tool (ETT)
The Tensor STR double trigger tool (ETT) can be used as both a right angle and pistol grip tool. In applications where preassembly is required, you no longer need one tool to snug a part in place and another for the final tightening. This can save time by eliminating steps in the assembly process.
With the Tensor STR ETT, an operator can hold the part and use the tool as a pistol model to snug the fastener and then use both hands, like a right angle tool, to accurately finish the tightening at a higher torque. This saves time, frees up space and eliminates the number of tools needed.
