Furthermore, the STRwrench has many built-in features to save space and time on the line. For example, the STRwrench has an integrated 2D barcode scanner, as opposed to the STwrench’s scanner which could only read 1D barcodes. Moreover, the barcode scanner can also be used for program selection. In addition to the barcode scanner, the STRwrench also has an onboard controller, which brings all the power of the Power Focus right to the tool.
Performing a tightening
Quality is always top of mind when performing a tightening, but how can you be sure the tightening is being completed correctly? Well, with this electronic torque wrench, you never have to worry! On the handle of this tool are LED lights that show the tightening progression. Furthermore, the LEDs and display turn red or green to indicate the OK/NOK status of the tightening. The STRwrench also has a buzzer and vibrating handle to ensure that the operator completes the application accurately, thus improving the operator experience.

In addition, the STRwrench is the perfect tool for many applications thanks to its faster hot-swap capabilities. Now you can hot-swap the beam to change the wrench range, and now each beam has a larger torque range than before. While with the STwrench there was a .5% accuracy starting from 10% of the wrench capacity, the STRwrench has a .5% starting from 5% of the wrench capacity. This gives each smartHEAD a larger range. Additionally, thanks to the inserts, the program is automatically adjusted in relation to the extension inserted.
A simple user interface
With a user-friendly Web GUI, you never have to worry about training and re-training your operators. Furthermore, not only is the Web GUI easy to use, but it is also easy to program. This means that you no longer have to worry about purchasing software for each computer used for programming.
