At Atlas Copco, we have three core values: interaction, commitment, and innovation. Every day, these values shape the way we do business. Each is equally important to our mission success of creating sustainable, profitable growth by being first in mind and first in choice with our customers and key stakeholders.     

 

Going forward, we will briefly define these values before turning our attention to interaction and how this value influences the others. Interaction is the first step to creating a welcoming environment, solving problems, and challenging each other to always do better, which is why it is so important to us, especially when the pandemic presented new challenges. Insights, formally called the Expert Hub, was created to keep in contact with our customers while social distancing. This allows us to breed employee and customer success by seeking unique solutions to an ever-changing industry.

Defining our values

Innovation, one of three of our core values, is characterized by our embrace of challenges and quest to stay ahead with new technologies and innovative ideas. True innovation is driven by challenging one another to always find a better way and having an active growth mindset. We are committed to our customers, our promises, and our colleagues. This shapes the way we solve problems. It is also why we listen to others and understand that people closest to the problem are often the closest to the solution, which brings us to our last core value: interaction.

 

The way we interact internally and externally is defined by our last core value. We recognize the value of unique perspectives and celebrate others’ success. By being connected and inclusive, we are able to cultivate a thriving team of friendly work partners that work for you just as much as they work for each other.

Interaction and our culture

To create competent teams and foster a family-like culture, we encourage all to be their most authentic self. Defining one’s character does not stop at the end of a resume or portfolio but extends to all the things that make them human. We search out unique perspectives that will drive innovation and commit to our vision of becoming and remaining first in mind–first in choice. This core value also encourages everyone to ask questions. It is our belief that Knowledge is power when it comes to expanding one’s understanding and finding new and innovative solutions to existing problems. Our teams celebrate success and challenge each other to always do better and never stop growing.

 

In fact, our Insights page was first created in 2020 to maintain our interaction with customers when the pandemic presented a need for an accessible ‘hub of resources.’ This site allows our experts to interact with customers by providing them with knowledge and resources when social distancing is required. Insights gives our customers a place to ask questions and receive the answers they need during live Q&As. Here, our customers have access to webinars, pocket guides, articles, and more, in addition to learning from our experts during Q&As. Despite the effects of the pandemic, we have managed to stay accessible to our customers, keeping them up-to-date and informed.
