TurboTight®
Among the various benefits that our revolutionary tightening strategy TurboTight® brings, the one that will have operators most impressed is its ability to virtually eliminate reaction force in hard joints. TurboTight® dynamically predicts when the target torque is about to be reached, ramps the tool speed down, accurately hits the target torque and then shuts off quickly.
This reduces the reaction perceived by the operator, as the tool is absorbing the reaction force instead of the operator. A University of Windsor study for USCAR found that compared to a standard Two Step tightening strategy, TurboTight® had lower peak forces, vibration, operator perceived exertion and fastening exposure time.
