When used in conjunction with the Atlas Copco SMC carbon arm, the WP balancer or the RIL balancer, AX Jib arms provide overhead structural support within smaller workstations. The preconfigured range of AX Jibs now include the standard AX Jib, the AX Jib Pivot, and the AX Jib Articulating.

Preconfigured AX Jib arms:
Standard AX Jib
Occupying minimal floorspace, this fixed mounted boom and adjustable suspension mounting bracket can be configured in multiple orientations (left, center, or right fixed positions) to best fit the workstation layout. The AX Jib provides a mounting spot for Atlas Copco SMC carbon arms, along with WP/RIL balancers. Virtually maintenance free, the arm has a modular design that eases configuration and allows for precise positioning of the mounted arm or balancer.
AX Jib Pivot
The AX Jib Pivot is a pivoting boom that allows for fluid movement 359° around the floor pillar of the arm. This arm and the AX Jib Articulating arm described below were developed after the initial release of the standard AX Jib arm, in order to satisfy the demands of complicated flexibility requirements. The AX Jib Pivot offers optional rail sections, attached parallel to the boom, that integrate with the SMC rail carriage and brake system. This elective option eliminates torque reaction to the operator while maintaining maximum tool working area.
AX Jib Articulating
This Jib has an articulating boom that enables overhead support in workspaces that the Standard and Pivot AX Jib arms cannot reach. Providing fast set-up, easy installation, and even more production flexibility than the other two products in the AX Jib series, the AX Jib Articulating is the full package. It’s smooth and easy to maneuver, and it integrates with DC electric tools, SMC carbon arms, and WP/RIL balancers. Like the other two arms in the range, the AX Jib Articulating comes with accessory rails that offer the ability to utilize additional accessories (such as stack lights, tool holders, etc.) during production.
